Cale, who lives in St. Paul and graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall has been disc golfing for 4-1/2 years. Now in college, Cale spends many weekends playing tournaments in MN and also going out of state to hit some bigger tournaments.

Early in the year, Cale had success with 5 top-5 finishes in his first 7 events. in fact, of 18 events played this year, Cale has been in the top 5 in 14 of them. Cale won 3 tournaments this year, with 1st place finishes at the MN State Championships, where he separated himself from the field by 4 strokes, The Northwoods Open, and the Minneapolis Open.

Cale also travelled to South Carolina and played well in the United States Disc Golf Championships, placing 25th. No longer anonymous on the national scene, Cale may well be "the future of MN disc golf". Cale's winnings from the years efforts have netted him well over $3,000.

An easygoing attitude and quiet confidence make Cale an enjoyable person to be around on, and off the course.
