Chris
Schmidt was one of the nicest guys I met when I first
started playing disc golf. He is a pleasure to hang out with
and is always ready to help out a new player or lend a
hand.
Chris throws Gateway,
and has been a contender for a long while. His top finish in 2005
was 3rd place at the Spam
Town Open behind Cale Leiviska
and winner Timmy Gill (both also on Team Long
Tee).

Fav courses 1 Ozark mountain (Mo)-
Most fun place to play. Real disc golf. 2 Jefferson Barracks (St.
Louis MO) Good course to have as a home course. 3 Todd Park (Austin MN) 27 holes. Don't
need to say more than that. 4 North Valley (MN) A very hard
course. 5 Ewing Park (Des Moines IA)
Why I
play I fell in love with the game at a very young age
(5-6) and I haven't stopped. I enjoy the family that the MFA has
built of disc golfers. I love watching a disc fly and the
different ways you can do it.
Teachers in the
sport (TG) I would have to say that Timmy Gill has
helped me in a bunch of ways. I owe a lot of my trick shots to
Timmy Gill. He has also showed me how to keep my game together at bad times. (PM) Pete
helped me learn how to train as far as how much to play in a day
or week and how to eat better. (Justin Bunnell and David Mac)
They helped me with my mental game and showed me how to love the
game.
